Abstract:
An organic EL display device (1) has a frame area (FA) which is provided with damming walls (Wa, Wb) that extend along the outer perimeter of a display area (DA) and that block an organic seal layer (84), and second lead-out wires (L2) that extend to cross the damming walls from the display area side to the outside of the frame area. The frame area is provided with a spacer wall (Ws) that extends along the damming walls and that is on the outer periphery of at least a portion of the damming walls where the damming walls intersect with the second lead-out wires. On top of the spacer wall, a plurality of protruding parts (64cp) are provided in the direction along the spacer wall so as to be spaced apart from each other. The second lead-out wires extend so as to cross the spacer wall in portions other than the protruding parts.
