Abstract:
This Doherty amplifier (100) is configured so as to comprise a carrier amplifier (4) that amplifies a first high-frequency signal having respectively a first higher harmonic wave and a second higher harmonic wave, a peak amplifier (7) that amplifies a second high-frequency signal having respectively a first higher harmonic wave and a second higher harmonic wave, a first series resonant circuit (9) that is connected between an output terminal (4a) of the carrier amplifier (4) and a ground and resonates at the frequency of the first higher harmonic wave, a second series resonant circuit (10) that is connected between an output terminal (7a) of the peak amplifier (7) and a ground and resonates at the frequency of the first higher harmonic wave, a first parallel resonant circuit (11) that is connected at one end to the output terminal (4a) of the carrier amplifier (4) and is connected at the other end to the output terminal (7a) of the peak amplifier (7) and resonates at the frequency of the second higher harmonic wave, and a second parallel resonant circuit (13) that is connected at one end to both the output terminal (7a) of the peak amplifier (7) and the other end of the first parallel resonant circuit (11), is electrically connected at the other end to a load (17), and resonates at the frequency of the second higher harmonic wave.
