Abstract:
A door latch device 100 comprises: a fork 10 that rotates between a latch position at which a striker 91 is engaged and an open position at which the engagement is released; a claw 20 that rotates between a lock position at which the fork 10 is locked and a lock release position where the lock is released; a fence block 40 that has a first space V1 on an X1 direction side and a second space V2 on an X2 direction side, the the fork 10 and the claw 20 being rotatably held in the first space V1; a first pin 15 and/or a second pin 25 integrally provided to the fork 10 and/or the claw 20; and a magnetism detection unit 70 disposed in the X2 direction of the fence block 40 so as to face the first pin 15 and/or the second pin 25 when the fork 10 is positioned at the latch position and/or the open position, and/or when the claw 20 is positioned at the lock position and/or the lock release position.
