Abstract:
Disclosed is a driving-force control apparatus for an electric vehicle, which comprises a determination unit (12), a driving-force command value calculation unit (13), and a command value output unit (14). When driving is performed at target driving forces calculated for each of a plurality of motors (106) that independently drive a plurality of wheels (107), the determination unit (12) determines whether or not the motors can be operated within a desired operation range. If it is determined that the motors cannot be operated within the desired operation range, the driving-force command value calculation unit (13) adjusts the distribution of driving force for the motors in accordance with the target driving forces and operation states of the motors and calculates actual driving-force command values of the motors in order for the motors to be operated within the desired operation range. The command value output unit (14) outputs driving-force command values to each of a plurality of inverters (105). Target vehicle operation can therefore be maximally realized while the operation states of the motors are appropriately maintained.
