Abstract:

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a drug sustained-releasing medical contact lens in which a water-insoluble component having a pharmacological activity is retained to provide drug sustained-releasing ability, and which has excellent oxygen permeability. The present invention has been accomplished through discovery that a drug sustained-releasing medical contact lens, which contains specific amounts of a silicone-based polymer having a specific structure and a drug having a specific solubility, can solve the abovementioned problem.
