Abstract:
Provided is a network controller with which it is possible to achieve both continuous operation of a route search system and a reduction in consumed energy or a leveling of use resources, the network controller comprising one or a plurality of processors and memories. The one or plurality of memories store one or a plurality of programs. The one or plurality of processors read the one or plurality of programs to thereby realize a user terminal traffic information acquisition unit, a traffic demand prediction unit, a route information acquisition unit, a route determination unit, a running state information acquisition unit, and a startup dependency generation unit. Future traffic demand based on user terminal traffic information is predicted, and a navigation route is determined from one or a plurality of route candidates on the basis of traffic demand prediction information. Base stations that are in an off state and that correspond to each area on the determined navigation route are started up.
