Abstract:
Provided is an electric motor unit, comprising a drive motor, a power generation motor that is driven by a prescribed drive source, and a housing that accommodates the drive motor and the power generation motor side-by-side, so that shafts thereof are roughly parallel, in a motor arrangement direction roughly orthogonal to the direction of extension of the shafts, wherein the following are provided: a first cover, onto which resolvers attached to the shafts of the drive motor and the power generation motor latch, and which is attached to the housing so as to cover the drive motor and the power generation motor in the axial direction; a second cover that is attached to the first cover so as to cover the first cover in the axial direction from the opposite side from the drive motor and the power generation motor; and a protrusion that protrudes from a surface of the first cover facing the second cover so as to come into contact with the second cover.
