Abstract:
This electric motor (1) comprises a shaft (11), a rotor (12), a stator (13), a first bracket (17), a second bracket (18), a heat exchange unit (19), a first guide (20), and a second guide (21). The heat exchange unit (19) has: an inside-air bypass (19a) positioned outside an inside-air ventilation path (34b) in the radial direction, said inside-air ventilation path (34b) being formed in the stator (13); and an outside-air bypass (19b) positioned outside the inside-air bypass (19a) in the radial direction and connected to the outside world. The heat exchange unit (19) further has a heat transfer member (38) for separating the inside-air bypass (19a) and the outside-air bypass (19b) from each other and transferring heat transferred from the inside air flowing through the inside-air bypass (19a) to the outside air flowing through the outside-air bypass (19b).
