Abstract:
An electrochemical capacitor according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of electrode assemblies each including a positive electrode having a wound sheet shape and coated with an active material layer on both surfaces thereof, a negative electrode having a wound sheet shape to face the positive electrode and coated with an active material layer on both surfaces thereof, and a wound separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a positive electrode lead wire electrically connected to the positive electrode of each of the plurality of electrode assemblies, and a negative electrode lead wire electrically connected to the negative electrode of each of the plurality of electrode assemblies.
