Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrode for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same, and more specifically, to an electrode of a new form for a lithium secondary battery, comprising a plurality of metal fibers having a conductive active material membrane formed on a surface thereof. The electrode for the lithium secondary battery and the lithium secondary battery comprising the same according to the present invention reduce degradation of performance according to expansion and contraction of a crystalline structure when absorbing or emitting lithium, and remove the necessity of using an additional binder.
