Abstract:
An electronic device, according to various embodiments, comprises: a communication module; a processor operatively connected to the communication module; and at least one memory operatively connected to the processor. The at least one memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: perform, through the communication module, neighbor awareness networking (NAN) synchronization with a plurality of external electronic devices; establish a first NAN data path (NDP) session with at least one first external electronic device from among the plurality of external electronic devices; transmit, through the first NDP session, first data to the at least one first external electronic device; store, on the basis of correspondence to a first condition, first NDP information on the first NDP session, pause the first NDP session, and establish a second NDP session with at least one second external electronic device from among the plurality of external electronic devices; transmit, through the second NDP session, second data to the at least one second external electronic device; store, on the basis of correspondence to a second condition, second NDP information on the second NDP session, pause the second NDP session, and resume, on the basis of the first NDP information, the first NDP session; and transmit, through the resumed first NDP session, third data to the at least one first external electronic device.
