Abstract:
An elevator door controller designed to optimize the door speed in such a manner as to increase the door speed or reduce the door opening/closing time within the range in which the kinetic energy regulations can be obeyed. In an elevator door controller for effecting the opening/closing control of an elevator door by outputting a torque instruction according to a motor speed pattern selected from a plurality of motor speed patterns, to a driving means for the elevator door, the door kinetic energy for each floor is calculated on the basis of the mass of the elevator door of each floor and the door speed information during the door opening/closing operation, and one of the plurality of motor speed patterns is selected as a motor speed pattern for each floor on the basis of the results of the calculation.
