Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope system whereby, in the case of switching illumination by a plurality of lights, the quantity of each illumination light can be controlled in accordance with a change in a subject. A set light quantity adjustment unit (57) adjusts the quantity of a second illumination light which is set at a first switching timing T1 of switching from a first illumination light to the second illumination light, and/or adjusts the quantity of the first illumination light which is set at a second switching timing T2 of switching from the second illumination light to the first illumination light.
