Provided are: an endoscopic flexible tube having a flexible tube substrate made of metal, and a coating layer covering the outer circumference of the flexible tube substrate, wherein the coating layer contains a polyester having a naphthalene structure, and a component having the effect of inhibiting the reaction of active species such as radicals; an endoscopic medical device having the endoscopic flexible tube; and a coating material for the endoscopic flexible tube substrate.
