Abstract:

The energy management system is provided with a fuel synthesis device (10a), an electric power-generating device (10b), a CO2 recovery unit (36), a compressor (38), a CO2 storage unit (23), a CO2 decompression unit (25), and heat recovery units (26, 39). The fuel synthesis device synthesizes hydrocarbon from H2O and CO2 using external electric power. The electric power-generating device generates electric power using the hydrocarbon. The CO2 recovery unit recovers CO2 from exhaust gas discharged from the electric power-generating device at the time of generation of electric power. The compressor compresses the recovered CO2. The CO2 storage unit stores the compressed CO2. The CO2 decompression unit decompresses the CO2 stored in the CO2 storage unit in order to supply the same to the fuel synthesis device. The heat recovery units recover heat stored in the CO2 due to the compression of the CO2 or the decompression of the CO2.
