Abstract:
An engine load control device (30) is mounted on a wheel loader (50) in which the output of an engine (1) is transmitted to a hydraulic actuator such as a loader hydraulic cylinder (14) through a variable displacement hydraulic pump such as a loader hydraulic pump (8). From the target rotational speed and actual rotational speed of the engine (1) detected by an engine rotational speed sensor (1a) and a stroke sensor (17a), a controller (18) calculates the approach rate α per unit time of them, and adjusts the maximum absorbing torque of each of the hydraulic pumps (7 to 9) according to the magnitude of the approach rate α.
