Abstract:
This expandable solar cell paddle (1) is installed in a rocket in a stored state and expands in outer space. The expandable solar cell paddle (1) comprises a plurality of frame body units (10). Each of the frame body units (10) comprises a frame body (20) and a film (30). The frame body (20) has a frame shape. The film (30) is attached to the frame body (20). The film (30) appears as a mounting surface in an opening formed by the frame shape of the frame body (20), and a plurality of solar cells (40) are mounted to the mounting surface. The expandable solar cell paddle (1) has the effects of lowering costs, saving space, and offering excellent mass producibility compared to the rigid panel-type solar cell paddles widely used in the prior art.
