Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fabric bag, wherein a bag body can be folded in multiple folds so as to be laterally retracted, such that when the bag is stored, folded, the folded volume of the bag body can be minimized; and to a method for producing the fabric bag. The fabric bag according to the present invention comprises: a body fabric including a front body fabric and a rear body fabric, wherein the front body fabric is woven in a rectangular shape and positioned in the front, and includes inner vertical furrows and outer vertical furrows provided alternatingly with lateral gaps therebetween, and a lower foldable portion is woven so as to extend from a lower part of the front body fabric, and wherein the lower body fabric is woven in a rectangular shape and is disposed in the rear of the lower foldable portion, and includes inner vertical furrows and outer vertical furrows provided alternatingly with lateral gaps therebetween, in a symmetric fashion to the front body fabric; a bag body produced by folding the lower foldable portion of the body fabric and sewing both side end portions of the folded body fabric as side sewn portions; and strap handles integrally woven so as to extend from both sides of an open end of the rear body fabric, wherein both end portions of the strap handles are sewn and connected by strap sewn portions at both sides of an open end of the front body fabric.
