Abstract:
This fatigue estimation system (200) is intended to estimate the degree of fatigue of a subject (11) whose body is partly hidden, the fatigue estimation system (200) being provided with: an imaging device (201) which captures an image including the subject (11) and a fixture (e.g., a desk (13)) around the subject (11); a first acquisition unit (101) (also referred to as an "image acquisition unit" hereinafter) which acquires the image from the imaging device (201); a detection unit (which is included, for example, in the first acquisition unit (101) as one of functions) which detects an upper surface of the fixture included in the acquired image (e.g., a desk upper surface (13a)); a posture estimation unit (105) which estimates the posture of a visible portion (11d) that is not hidden when observed from the imaging device (201) and estimates the posture of a non-visible portion (11c) that is hidden when observed from the imaging device (201) on the basis of the detected upper surface with respect to the subject (11) included in the image; and a fatigue estimation unit (108) which estimates the degree of fatigue on the basis of the estimated posture of the subject (11).
