Abstract:
A fiber material for decomposing an allergen which comprises a cotton, a yarn, a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, a knit fabric or paper containing a natural fiber, a synthetic fiber, a semi-synthetic fiber or a re-generated fiber having a derivative of a metal-phthalocyanine carried thereon, the metal-phthalocyanine being represented by the following formula (I): (I) [wherein M represents a metal selected from the group consisting of Fe, Co, Mn, Ti, V, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mo, W and Os]; and a fiber product having an allergen decomposing function which is fabricated from a material comprising the above fiber material for decomposing an allergen.
