Abstract:
The present invention provides fibers for hair, the fibers comprising: base material fibers; and a cationic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant, which are present on at least a part of the surfaces of the base material fibers. With respect to the fibers for hair, the cationic surfactant has a carbon chain having 18 to 22 carbon atoms; the nonionic surfactant has a carbon chain having 10 to 20 carbon atoms; the nonionic surfactant has an HLB value of 14.0 to 19.0; the content of the cationic surfactant is 3% by mass to 20% by mass based on the total amount of the nonionic surfactant; and the total amount of the cationic surfactant and the nonionic surfactant is 0.002% by mass to 4% by mass based on the total amount of the fibers for hair.
