Abstract:

This filter capsule for a flavor inhalation article comprises: a capsule outer shell which has fine protrusions and recesses formed in an external surface thereof and which has a content sealed therein; and fine powder that is attached to a part of the external surface of the capsule outer shell. A protrusion part and a recess part, which is disposed adjacent to the protrusion part and that is recessed with respect to the protrusion part, are repeated at random in the external surface of the capsule outer shell. The fine powder is attached to a portion of the recess parts in the external surface of the capsule outer shell. In the portion of the recess parts where the fine powder is attached, the particle size of the fine power is smaller than the depth of the recess parts as measured from the peak of the protrusion parts on the external surface of the capsule outer shell, by visual observation on a microscope. The capsule outer shell is capable of being deformed by an external force exerted thereon in a direction intersecting with a longitudinal direction of the flavor inhalation article filter in a state in which the capsule outer shell having the fine powder attached to the external surface thereof is embedded in the filter material of the flavor inhalation article filter.
