Abstract:
The present invention provides a flame atomic absorption photometer comprising: a burner 110 that forms a flame by burning a mixture of an atomized sample liquid and a mixed gas including a fuel gas and a combustion-assisting gas; flame light detection units 181, 182 that detect light radiated from the flame; and an expired flame determination unit 162 that determines that the flame has gone out when the intensity of the light detected by the flame light detection units is lower than a predetermined threshold value. The flame light detection units selectively detect light having a wavelength of 290 nm to 330 nm inclusive.
