Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/118413
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
One or more embodiments of the present invention relate to a flame-resistant fabric comprising acrylic fibers, regenerated cellulosic fibers, and heat-resistant fibers, wherein: the regenerated cellulosic fibers are one or more types of fiber selected from the group consisting of flame-resistant rayon fibers and lyocell fibers; the heat-resistant fibers are one or more types of fiber selected from the group consisting of polyoxadiazole fibers and aramid fibers; the flame-resistant fabric includes 20-76 wt% of the acrylic fibers, 11-48 wt% of the regenerated cellulosic fibers, and 6-69 wt% of the heat-resistant fibers; and the flame-resistant fabric exhibits a char length of not more than 100 mm, a lingering flame time of not more than two seconds, and an afterglow time of not more than 4 seconds as measured in a flame resistance test based on GB/T 5455-1997. Thus, the present invention provides a flame-resistant fabric having favorable flame resistance and antimicrobial properties, and a protective clothing using the flame-resistant fabric.
