Abstract:

A flexible module and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of the flexible module comprises: adhering a bottom film to a back surface of a flexible panel through a bonding layer, at least removing the bottom film at the back surface of a bending region (11) of the flexible panel, bending the flexible panel in a way that the bending region (11) of the flexible panel is bent so as to complete manufacturing of the flexible module. The flexible module manufacturing method at least removes bottom film at the back surface of the bending region (11) of the flexible panel and bends the flexible panel, such that the bending region (11) of the flexible panel is curved and deformed. After bending, positions at the bending region (11) of the flexible panel, in the absence of the bottom film, are not restrained and have balanced stress. Thus, the bending region (11) of the flexible panel is free from uneven stress that might otherwise cause an inability to fully bend the bending region (11) of the flexible panel and fracture of metal pads on the bending region (11) of the flexible panel. The invention enables a COF end of a flexible panel to be more easily and completely back-folded and better implements a narrow frame liquid-crystal display.
