Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a flexographic printing original plate which causes few mask defects and is unlikely to contaminate a device during development, and which allows a flexographic printing plate obtained therefrom to have excellent concave line reproducibility and to be less susceptible to ink entanglement, and a method for manufacturing a flexographic printing plate using the flexographic printing original plate. This flexographic printing original plate comprises at least a support, a photosensitive resin layer, and a thermosensitive image formation layer in this order, the thermosensitive image formation layer containing a pigment as an infrared absorbing agent, and a dye as an ultraviolet absorbing agent, and the optical density of the thermosensitive image formation layer being 3.0 or more.
