Abstract:
This fluorine-containing ether compound is characterized by being represented by formula (1). Formula (1): R1-CH2-R2-CH2-R3 (In formula (1), R2 is a perfluoropolyether chain represented by formula (2); R1 is a terminal group bonded to R2 via CH2, and is represented by formula (3); and R3 is a terminal group bonded to R2 via CH2, having one or more hydroxyl groups, and may be the same as or different from R1.) Formula (2): -(CF2)p-1-O-((CF2)pO)q-(CF2)p-1- (In formula (2), p is an integer of 2 to 3, and q is the average polymerization degree and is 1 to 20.) Formula (3): -O(CH2-CH(OH)-CH2-O)2-CH2-(CH2)n-OH (In formula (3), n is an integer of 1 to 8.)
