Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a forming device for a metal separator and a forming method for the same, allowing a distortion arising at press-forming time to be eliminated and the forming to be carried out with no distortion remaining. [Solution] A forming device (100) for a metal separator (91) whereby a thin plate substrate (90) is press-formed with an upper mold (31) (first mold) for flow-path patterning and a lower mold (32) (second mold) for flow-path patterning provided to be relatively movable in approach and separation, having a first heating unit (10) (heating unit) for heating the thin plate substrate, a flow-path-patterning unit (30) (patterning unit) whereby a flow-path (90c) for circulating a carrier is formed by pressing with the first mold and the second mold the thin plate substrate heated by the first heating unit, and a control unit (180) controlling the operation of the first heating unit and the flow-path-patterning unit.
