Abstract:
This gear device, with which a decrease in power transmission efficiency can be suppressed and structural simplification and downsizing achieved, has: a face gear (1) that has a first surface (3A) and second surface (3B) and rotates around a first rotational axis core (X); a pinion gear (2) that rotates around a second rotational axis core (Y), which has a different direction from the first rotational axis core (X), and meshes with the first surface (3A) of the face gear (1); and an inclination restricting portion (4) that is provided at a position in a wall portion (5), which faces the second surface (3B) of the face gear (1), corresponding to the meshing position between the pinion gear (2) and face gear (1) when viewed in a direction parallel to the first rotational axis core (X), and makes contact with the second surface (3B) of the face gear (1) when the face gear (1) separates from the pinion gear (2), restricting inclination of the face gear (1).
