Abstract:
Provided is a gear lubricant oil composition that contains: a lubricant oil base oil that comprises an ester base oil and a mineral base oil having a kinetic viscosity of 10-50 mm2/s at 40 °C, and that contains 1-15 mass% of the ester base oil with respect to the total amount of the lubricant oil base oil; a copolymer of an α-olefin and an ester monomer that comprises a polymerizable unsaturated bond; and an organic molybdenum compound. The content of the copolymer with respect to the total amount of the lubricant oil composition is 1-20 mass%. The gear lubricant oil composition has a kinetic viscosity of 60 mm2/s or less at 40 °C and a viscosity index of 150 or more.
