Abstract:
Provided is a glass composition containing tin oxide, in which the content of tin oxide which is expressed in % by mass is 0.1 ≦ T-SnO2 ≦ 2.5 (wherein T-SnO2 represents a total tin oxide content calculated in terms of SnO2 content). A glass filler comprising the glass composition may be a flaky glass, a chopped strand, a milled fiber, a glass powder, glass beads, a flat fiber, a thin-chip-like glass or the like. The glass composition is suitable for the stable production of a glass filler or the like.
