The present invention addresses the problem of providing a grease composition that uses hydrophilic nanofibers but still has excellent water resistance and does not readily experience oil separation. A grease composition that contains a base oil, hydrophilic nanofibers that have a thickness (d) of 1–500 nm, and organic bentonite.
