Abstract:
A gas nailer has a hammering cylinder (7), a hammering piston (10), a combustion
chamber (8), a fuel gas cartridge (2), and a supercharging device (3). The pressure
of combustion of a mixture gas of a gas fuel and air performed in the combustion
chamber (8) operates the hammering piston (10) in the hammering cylinder (7),
and a fastener is driven by a driver by the operation of the hammering piston (10).
An engagement device (15) for engaging the hammering piston (10) is provided
in the hammering cylinder (7) in order that the hammering piston (10) is not moved
depending on a rise in the pressure in the combustion chamber (8) involved in supply
of compressed air at the time of supercharging by the supercharging device (3).
