Abstract:
The purpose is to provide a heat exchanger and a method for controlling a heat exchanger with which it is possible to reduce heat transfer pipe corrosion and adhesion of soot and dust present in an exhaust gas in the interior of a reheater even when there is variation in driving conditions. The heat exchanger 20 is provided with: a heat recovery unit 21 for causing a heat medium M to recover the heat of an exhaust gas G2 by a first heat exchange in which the exhaust gas and a fin tube 21a channeling the heat medium M are brought into contact; a reheater 22 provided with a preheating unit 221 for preheating the exhaust gas G6 by a second heat exchange in which the exhaust gas G6 after the first heat exchange and a tube 221a channeling the heat medium M after the first heat exchange are brought into contact, and heaters 222, 223 for heating the exhaust gas G6 by a third heat exchange in which the exhaust gas G6 after the second heat exchange and the heat medium M after the second heat exchange are brought into contact; a circulation line L for circulating the heat medium M; and a control unit 32 for calculating the recovery heat amount recovered from the exhaust gas G2 in the first heat exchange in the heat recovery unit 21 and controlling the temperature of the heat medium M after the first heat exchange to within a predetermined range.
