Abstract:
A holder for a measuring instrument which allows a measuring instrument already
in possession to carry out puncturing, sampling, measurement of a sample, and
the like. When a biosensor measuring instrument (30) is attached to a measuring
instrument holding section (11), a puncture apparatus (25) is driven to puncture
by a drive mechanism (13), and a sample (B) can be sampled by means of a biosensor
chip (20) fixed to a connector section (14) and then measured by means of the fixed
biosensor measuring instrument (30). In this connection, waste can be avoided
and burden on the user can be lessened by fixing a measuring instrument (30) already
in possession to the holder (10) for a measuring instrument. Even under a state
where the biosensor measuring instrument (30) is not attached, puncturing can
be carried out by using the holder (10) for a measuring instrument alone and driving
the puncture apparatus (25) by the drive mechanism (13).
