Abstract:
This hydrogen system comprises: a compressor in which a cathode and an anode are arranged with an electrolyte membrane therebetween, protons are extracted from an anode fluid supplied to the anode by applying voltage between the cathode and the anode, and said compressor causes the protons to move toward the cathode and generates compressed hydrogen; a voltage-applying device that applies voltage between the anode and the cathode; a first flow path for supplying cathode off gas including compressed hydrogen discharged from the cathode to the anode of the compressor; a first opening/closing valve provided to the first flow path; and a controller that causes the voltage to be applied to the voltage-applying device while the first opening/closing valve is open during the interval from the start of start-up until the supply of the cathode off gas to a hydrogen reservoir is started.
