Abstract:
There is provided an illumination system for irradiating a distortion-free irradiation image onto an irradiation plane with a simple arrangement. A light blocking mask (24) for shielding light incident to each lens section (23b) from an LED (12) is arranged oppositely to a fly eye lens (23). An aperture profile of a light blocking part (24b) arranged on the light blocking mask (24) is set in accordance with the opposing state of the fly eye lens (23) and the irradiation plane (100). The light blocking part (24b) prevents incidence of light to each lens section (23b) from a region causing distortion of the irradiation image on the irradiation plane (100).
