Abstract:
Provided is an image file distribution device, image file restoration device, method and program therefor, and recording medium in which the program is stored, such that there is relatively little increase in the amount of data of an image file (40) even when a highly confidential (k, n) secret-sharing method is used. Distributed tag information (51) and the like are obtained from tag information (50) for the image file (40) by means of a (k, n) threshold secret-sharing method, and distributed image data (61) and the like are obtained from image data (60) by means of a (k, L, n) ramp threshold secret-sharing method. Combined data (71) and the like are obtained by combining the distributed tag information (51) and the like with the distributed image data (61) and the like. Because the amount of data of the tag information (50) is small, the amount of data does not increase much even when the (k, n) threshold secret-sharing method is used. Because the (k, L, n) ramp threshold secret-sharing method, which causes little increase in the amount of data, is used for the image data (60), there is relatively little increase in the total amount of data.
