Abstract:
An image formation device (100) comprises a page memory (221), a transport unit (12), an image formation unit (14), and a control unit (21). The page memory (221) stores image data of each of a plurality of pages. The transport unit (12) includes a transport path (X1) including a reverse path (X2) for double-sided printing, and transports a recording medium (P) to the image formation unit (14). The control unit (21) controls reading/writing of the page memory (221), the operation of the transport unit (12), and the operation of the image formation unit (14). The page memory (221) includes a first memory (M1) and a second memory (M2). The first memory (M1) only stores image data of, among the plurality of pages, the page of an image that is formed on a first surface of the recording medium (P). The second memory (M2) only stores image data of, among the plurality of pages, the page of an image that is formed on a second surface of the recording medium (P).
