Abstract:
This indoor unit for an air conditioner is provided with: an indoor unit body having an indoor heat exchanger for exchanging heat between air and a heat medium; a connection port provided in the indoor unit body and communicating with the indoor heat exchanger; and a valve kit provided as a separate body from the indoor unit body, the valve kit having a flow rate regulation valve for regulating the flow rate of a heat medium flowing into the indoor heat exchanger, the valve kit also having a pressure sensor for measuring the pressure of the heat medium. The valve kit is connected to the connection port of the indoor unit body by external piping through which a heat medium flows.
