Abstract:
The present invention realizes more natural and effective communication with a user. An information processing device according to the present invention comprises: a first sensor (1101) for detecting an object present in a first direction with respect to an autonomous mobile object (10); second sensors (1102, 1103) for detecting, in a manner different from the first sensor, an object present in the first direction with respect to the autonomous mobile object; and an operation control unit for controlling the operation of the autonomous mobile object on the basis of detection results acquired by the first sensor and detection results acquired by the second sensors. Given that it becomes possible to sense obstacles by using a plurality of sensors of different types, more reliable detection and avoidance of obstacles becomes possible.
