Abstract:
The present invention provides a device and method that make it possible to select one user utterance to which an information processing device corresponds from a plurality of user utterance candidates. The device has a data processing unit that selects one user utterance to which the information processing device corresponds from a plurality of user utterance candidates generated as voice analysis results for a user utterance. The data processing unit: discerns a context type, which is the type of context that is current situation information; selects a context type having high similarity or relevance to the discerned context type; and selects, as one user utterance to which the information processing device corresponds, a user utterance having a slot that is identical or similar to a slot registered in a database in association with the selected context type.
