Abstract:
The present technology relates to an information processing system and an information processing method that involve sharing of acceleration data between a plurality of devices to make it possible to determine what cannot be determined with a single piece of data. According to the present invention, a first acceleration and a second acceleration that are the respective accelerations of a first device and a second device that can be removably mounted across from each other at prescribed locations are used to determine whether the first device and the second device are across from each other and thereby detect the mounting state of the first device and the second device. Or, the acceleration of a first device is transmitted by wireless communication to a second device that is connected to the first device by wireless communication.
