Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an interdental cleaning tool which has a simple configuration and is capable of effectively preventing the breakage of a core substrate section when inserted into an interdental area or cleaning the interdental area, without degrading the manufacturing productivity of the interdental cleaning tool; and a method of manufacturing the same. A plurality of recessed cleaning sections (14), which pass through a flexible cleaning section (21) and form recess sections (14a) in the core substrate section (12), are formed respectively at first and second side sections of a cleaning part (2) so as to be spaced apart from each other in the axial direction of the flexible cleaning section (21), and at least one of the plurality of recessed cleaning sections (14) has a shape in which the shape of an opening of a core substrate recess section formed in the core substrate section is elongated in the axial direction of the cleaning part.
