Abstract:
A sprinkler assembly comprising in combination a sprinkler mounting stake (10) and a sprinkler (50) comprising. The sprinkler comprises (50) a sprinkler body (52) formed with a support member receptacle (60) and locking portion (70). The sprinkler mounting stake (10) comprises a ground insertion portion (12) and a sprinkler support portion (20). The sprinkler support portion (20) comprises a lateral support member (34) extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the stake (10) and retention member (42). The support member (20) is insertable within the support member receptacle (60) and a retention member (42) prevents unintentional disengagement of the sprinkler body (52) from the mounting stake (10).
