Abstract:
Provided are an item binning method and apparatus, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method comprises: receiving an order to be processed, wherein the order to be processed comprises the type and number of items to be binned; and determining a binning configuration of the order to be processed according to the order to be processed and a binning configuration of a historical order comprised in a binning database, wherein the binning configuration of the order to be processed comprises the type and number of boxes needed for packaging the items to be binned, and the binning configuration of the historical order comprises the type and number of items and the type and number of boxes needed for packaging the items. In the method, a binning configuration of an order to be processed can be automatically generated by means of a binning configuration of a historical order, such that the binning efficiency is high, and the binning accuracy is also high. In addition, the method can be realized by means of universal hardware without the need to buy extra devices, so that the binning cost is low, and the method is not limited by the type and volume of an item, and is applicable to many scenarios.
