Abstract:
Provided are a lead-acid battery system and a lead-acid battery deterioration estimation method, each of which more accurately estimates the degree of deterioration of a lead-acid battery regardless of the cause of the deterioration, so as to be able to contribute to reliability improvement. The present invention comprises: a transition determination unit (131) that determines switching between charge and discharge processes of a lead-acid battery (B); a calculation unit (132) that calculates a CT value on the basis of a discharge current value during a discharge period of the storage battery; and a deterioration determination unit (134) that uses the CT value calculated by the calculation unit (132) so as to determine the degree of deterioration of the lead-acid battery.
