Abstract:
A lid opening/closing device capable of easily performing the opening/closing lock operation of the glove box of an automobile even from a rather separated position, formed in a simple structure, and formed of less number of parts. The lid opening/closing device comprises a lid (30) openably installed on a recess (12) formed on a vehicle side, a lock device (40) locking the closed state of the lid (30), and an operating element (70) disposed on the vehicle side in proximity to the recess (12) and unlocking the lock device (40). The lock device (40) comprises lock pieces (45) installed in the lid (30), retracted from the peripheral edge of the lid (30), and normally elastically energized so as to be projected from the peripheral edge of the lid and when the lid (30) is closed, engaged with engagement holes (17) in the inner periphery (13) of the recess. The operating element (70) comprises a pusher (74) releasing the engagement thereof by pushing a receiving part (55) formed in the portion thereof interlocking with the lock pieces (45).
