Abstract:
The present disclosure pertains to a light detection device capable of simultaneously achieving heat resistance and shielding effect for two-floor pixel substrates and capable of reducing parasitic light detection sensitivity in the two-floor pixel substrates. The light detection device comprises: a first substrate including a first semiconductor substrate in which at least a photoelectric conversion unit is formed; a second substrate including a second semiconductor substrate in which an active element is formed; and a dielectric multilayer film that is formed by alternately layering of three or more layers of at least a first film obtained by using a dielectric material having a first refractive index and a second film obtained by using a dielectric material having a second refractive index lower than the first refractive index and that is disposed between the first semiconductor substrate and the second semiconductor substrate. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, a solid-state imaging device or the like provided with pixels which receive, and photoelectrically convert, incoming light.
