Abstract:
A lighting device according to an embodiment is provided with a first light guide plate (11). Prisms (70) arranged on a second surface (11b) of the first light guide plate (11) each have a recessed portion (75) that is symmetrical with respect to a first direction in which a first surface (11a) and the second surface (11b) face one another. The recessed portion (75) includes a first control surface (71) and a second control surface (72) which are substantially flat surfaces formed so as to be symmetrical with one another with respect to a Z-direction, and a bottom surface (73) connecting the first control surface (71) and the second control surface (72). An anti-reflective coating is applied to the first control surface (71) and the second control surface (72).
